My years of working in high school, juvenile hall, and foster care system settings have provided me rich experiences to understand the pressure and stressors teens face. Therapy provides a unique opportunity for teens to experience a safe, judgement-free space to gain tools to navigate life and increase self awareness and resiliency.

Whether you are dating, engaged, or have been married for years, couples therapy can create a path towards deeper connection, a stronger relationship, and more effective communication. It can be difficult to re-write patterns you see emerging in your relationships; take the guess work out of the equation and invest in yourselves for a more solid foundation. I utilize the Gottman method, of which I am level 2 trained. Read about this approach here.

Walk-and-Talk Therapy

50 minute sessions

Walk-and-Talk therapy, also known as Nature Therapy incorporates the unique benefits of ecopsychology, fresh air, and exercise to invite a new perspective and deepen the sense of interconnectedness with oneself, others, and the world. Physical movement encourages psychological movement, which may allow breakthroughs to be accelerated. Increased comfortability, tension release, and bilateral stimulation of the brain hemispheres to aid in emotional processing are among the many benefits. I am also happy to talk with you about bringing your dog, assuming the temperament and terrain are appropriate.

Christian Based Therapy

50 minute sessions

In faith based therapy sessions, I incorporate my Christian faith to bring your relationship with Jesus to the forefront of healing. I find great meaning from God's word; "You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people" (Genesis 50);  despite the hardships you have faced, there is meaning and purpose to be found in your story.
